A lady identified as Clara Wanjiku Odero has called out Olugbenga Agboola, the CEO of Flutterwave, for allegedly bullying her for years.
Narrating her ordeal via the micro-blogging platform, Twitter, Clara (@WanjikuClara) said she has been constantly belittled, lied about, harassed and had her name tarnished and almost arrested by Flutterwave CEO.
Clara said “I left my job @theflutterwave almost five years ago. I chose to leave because I was unhappy and burnt out. I have not known any peace since then.
“Mostly because I chose to stand up for myself.
“When I tendered my resignation, GB acted like it wasn’t happening. He refused to pay me my salary and I got a lawyer because what was I supposed to do?
“He has had a chip on his shoulder since then. He tried to stop me from getting employed (ha) and would speak ill of me. I almost went to jail because of their negligence and sued them.
“There have been rumors of a piece coming out about issues at the company. In a bid to I guess get ahead of it GB had an interview with a blog where he tried to malign my name”.
As of press time, Flutterwave management is yet to react to the allegations
