The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar on Tuesday swore before the leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) that he would restructure the country if elected president.
Pendulum Nigeria reports that took the oat during an interactive section with the leadership of the CAN on Tuesday in Abuja.
Part of Atiku’s statement reads thus, ” they said they believe in restructuring, did they restructure told Nigerians what they wanted to hear and did a different thing when they got the opportunity to what they wanted to do, PDP is not like that.
“….we should tell ourselves the truth and i am telling you the truth, we didn’t behave like that. So my brothers and sisters i stand before you here not to campaign but to tell you the honest truth, what you have presented to us is what I have always believed in and if i have the opportunity i swear to God i will do it”

Among those on the delegation of the presidential candidate were PDP Vice Presidential candidate, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa; former Vice President Namadi Sambo; former Senate President Bukola Saraki; former Governor of Cross River State, Liyel Mike; former Governor Okwesilieze Nwodo, former Governor Aliyu Babangida and Chief Tom Ikimi.
